Amethyst Flynn

So no wonder my mind works a bit differently than some. My parents taught me all about life at an early age; love, sexuality, self defense, feelings, understanding others, and so on. I have a lot of compassion because of my parents' influence and my own experiences in life. I strive to make the world better for others and myself.

My childhood was rough in some places, though. My parents had addictions and I became 'parentised', caring for them rather than the other way around. They had fights, affairs, and a semi-informal custody battle over me. I was an only child and often felt sad, alone, unloved, and afraid.

Art has always been an important form of escape and expression for me. My introversion as a child has helped me to create many dynamic universes through imagination to play with and enjoy. I find it easier to show these in drawings than writing, because I'm afraid of not doing my universes justice in writing. 'Doing it wrong', 'Messing it up'. When I manage to gain the confidence, I'll join the Wyvern's Library and share my stories with you.
