Check out this awesome nature painting that Johan made for my folkmetal band Skald and our new demo "Trolska Vemodsband" (Trollish Bonds Of Agony) -> http://wixx.org/~hebbe/delad/trolska_front.jpg

Hi! I think your pictures are very interesting, though your stile isn't really what I like I couldn't stop lookin at you art, every time I was watching a picture I had to see the next one...

The quality in the pictures are amazing! And you are very good with both pencil and colours.I'm really impressed.

Keep up the good work!

2 Johan Aronson replies: "It really makes me happy to hear I got you to keep looking even though it wasn't you prefered style. Thanks for the kind words!"

Nice to see that you still draw alot old buddy, gave that up a long time ago myself. Was actually Magnus who showed me this site and the great pictures you draw. Seems it was a hundred years since we spoke last and i hope you are doing well. Have to get in touch with you soon though concerning a tattoo containing runeprint since you have some expertise in that area. Take care and keep waving that pencil around!

:-) Johan Aronson replies: "Hey, old friend! Good to hear from you, it truly was to long since last (I promise to get online MSN more often, should have your adress). Would love to give some advice on the rune tattoo, if you have't gotten it inked already.Talk to you soon I hope!"

Du är grymt duktig, älskar dina troll.

:-) Johan Aronson replies: "Tack tack! Kul att det finns fler som gillar tovigt hår, stora näsor och släpande svansar. 2

Av någon anledning verkar inte din Elfwood-sida fungera, men jag är säker på att jag var inne på den förut. Har du tagit bort den?"

I love your work! Especially the trolls wich remind me of my childhood, where I had this great book from Astrid Lingren "Tomte Tummetott".
Your troll-paintings carry this silence, and this special atmosphere wich makes me sad and happy at the same time.
Also I like your Fintroll inspired trolls, cause I am a great fan of the band 12

2 Johan Aronson replies: "Thanks a lot!"

Your artwork is amazing. All of it. You should start a "Save the Swedish forrests"-campaign with your lovely art of trolls and skogsraa’s. Our forrests are full of old ruins and signs of civilization, that no one hardly see any longer, and to those people the trolls were real. I want them to be real aswell. Keep our forrests and our old myths alive I say. Gogo! 1

2 Johan Aronson replies: "Thanks!! That is such a great compliment! 2

That is also why I like creatures from folklore much more than pure fantasy creatures, because just a few generations ago people did believe in them. While there has never been anyone who believed in orcs.

The troll, tomtar, älvor and so on feel to me one step closer to actually existing."

:-) Johan Aronson replies: "Ah, no, not a member. I just know their frontman so I get to draw covers for them. 2"
