SciFi and Fantasy Art Arrested by Johan Aronson


	Two unfortunate insurgents in the not so gentle arms of the police. Supposed to be in some near future totalitarian place. Just had this picture in my head and had to get it on paper. Used a very simple shading technique which led to the result being much more comic-like than I'd prefered. Also it didn't turn out as brutal as I wanted, so I'm gonna have to do a remake on the same theme someday.

27 Apr 2006	Michael Balchaitis	Loading... Yeah, I see what you mean about it looking comic-like. But it's great concept. Graffiti looks cool. Good stuff. Johan Aronson replies: " In my defence, I used a new type of paper which functioned differently from my other watercolour paper, so I couldn't paint in the way I use to, hehe. And thanks for the compliments!"
30 Oct 2006	. . .	Loading... i like this, too. can i ask, what does the PP stand for, or is it just a symbol? Johan Aronson replies: "Hm... They had a meaning, but I can't remember what it was. Something with "police", I think."
8 Feb 2007	Tobias_joha@hotmail.com tobias_joh	Loading... När jag såg bilden började jag skratta! Bilden är så rolig.. Har du tittat på lite för mycket cops eller?? Denna sparar jag.. Såg en annan bild som du gjort som har liknande "stil".. När jag ser dessa bilder kommer jag att tänka på den dära kända konstnären som har gjort dom smälta klockorna och tigrar som hoppar genom något.. Vet inte vad han heter och orkar inte ta reda på det nu men du vet säkert vilka tavlor jag menar.. Ha det bra Johan Aronson replies: "Hähä, har hänt att man kikat på det sena nätter när man egentligen borde sova. Fast jag brukar heja på poliserna, men de på bilder är elaka. Med tigrarna och klockorna... Menar du Salvador Dali? Det är ju sjujäkla komplimang i så fall, även om jag brukar försöka hålla mina bilder lite mindra knarkade han hans. "
