Oh well. looks a bit cold there. Johan Aronson replies: "I don't know if he had any other weapon, and have never heard about any hammer (perhaps you think of Thor's hammer Mjolnir?)" | |

| 2 Jul 2005 | Krypto | Loading...The allfather! Or as we like to call him,"Odin" which is the proper name for us Norwegians. I've heard Odins spear named as Grungir too, and Tors/Thors hammer as Mjolnir, Mjolne, Mjölner and Mjölne. Don't know so much more, anyone else? Tor is my favorite anyway :] Johan Aronson replies: "Yea, it's hard not to like Tor. Have to paint him too someday. " | |

| 5 Sep 2007 | Anonymous | Loading...This is a very good picture of Oden. One of the better i have seen. Though I am missing his horse Sleipner. He is my favorite of the northen gods, and the one who most readly awnsers prayers directed to him (in my experience). The other gods awnser too, but not with the same frequency. Johan Aronson replies: "Thanks! I have to say it's extra fun to hear those words from someone who believes in the old gods. It's funny though, I've always seens Odin as a god mainly for lords and warriors, but he "works" good for ordinary people too you say?" | |
