A pious holy warrior, perhaps a wee bit too zealous. Carrying heads of blasphemers and also the sacred relics of long dead saints.
Wanted to have him full of symbols of god (the Abrahamitic one), but all I could find symbolised Jesus in one way or another so had to make do with that.

Also he's supposed to look crazed, not scared.. messed up his eyebrows a little..

It is well drawn..But..Don't you think someone might be offended by this pic?...

:-) Johan Aronson replies: "Thanks. Maybe someone are, but whatever you draw, do or say, there's always someone who's offended by it. So no point bothering about that."

Good stuff, but a zealous crusader wouldn't head hunt, let alone carry the heads of blasphemers around, because head hunting was considered blasphemus as well, and a zealous warrior wouldn't willingly commit blasphemy.

Aye that may be a point but it can be counter crossed my friend for even if it is blaspehmous to head hunt he may be so consumed in his evil hunting that he's inevitably corrupted himself in his pursiut to destroy evil. It happens to all paladins, inquisitors and templars of God, they've all succumbed to Evil by either dying at its hands or becoming evil themselves. Plus just look at him, you honestly can't tell me he's gone crazy smiting evil ?

But to the author, I love your artwork, I'm some what of a budding artist myself and alot of my stuff is on the same basis as yours, what with all the knights in how they would look ( not sleek shiny armour. It was never like that unless decrotive armour ) I do like this picture alot though it portrays my statement very well that no matter how good a person is, evil is undoubtably waiting to leap on them from the shadows at any given moment.

(in real life)He looks like Joan of Arc´s best friend! He was a Paladin from France that became soon corrupted and consumed by his belief to god! he killed 1000 of indecent people in his own town!(från svergie också ^^)
