A Drop of Poison colored.

this picture is actually one of my most recent ones.. I drew and colored this on May 23, 2008.. only a couple days ago. I originally wanted to color her body so that it would be more purple instead of the colors that i used here.

I know I still need work on faces and things of that sort, but I believe that in every picture that I take my time with, new advancements come to my skill and whatever. So, my whole.. talent or whatever is ever changing and I believe (if you compare this picture to the others) that becomes very evident.

And now, about her. She's my version of a dragon half. Instead of blowing fire, her kind are elemental mages. She, herself, is a temptress and royal sorceress to her people. Using magic, she can change her form almost completely to that of a human.

Looks even better colored! i really like the little details you added in like the scales on the green. Now I finally got how the head was positioned! Took me a bit to figure it out!

nice 2 the color version looks even better 2 a really interesting creature 2 ...hm is it me or she doesn’t even have the slightest shades? 22

:-) Amber-Michelle Payne replies: "actually it does have slight shading, but only with the colored pencils :$.
the (colored) original’s shades were more evident than this scanned copy.

but i will admit this: i really went light on the color and shading.. i think it’s what keeps making me look at this picture.

thanks for the comment."
