Lots of people have asked if this is a drawing. The answer is yes, although I did graph the original picture to get the outlined proportions right. Then I erased all the graph lines and started shading it while looking at the picture. New version with a better resolution coming soon.

This cold and silent picture screams a thousand words, for it claws at the deepest secrets of every human being.

I love this piece. There's so much feeling in it... I can feel her despair, but also get the sense that she's being protected by the soft arch that's forming over her. The monochrome/contrast combination is very powerful. I'd love to see more pieces like this.

I love your work...your work with Sculpey, as a fellow user is wonderful...but this piece really spoke to me. It captures a real mood and evokes my emotions. Truely beautiful.

This is incredible and the title is perfect for it, it relates to anyone who looks at it because something in everyones life has given an aftermath that felt like this.
