SciFi and Fantasy Art LOTR: Helms Deep by Amy ´Dermot the Great´ Heffernan

A silly little doodle, inspired by something actually said in the BBC radioplay version of Lord of the Rings: The Two towers. It's not too clear from my godawful handwiring, but Legolas says cheerfully to Gimli as they stand waiting for the battle to commence: 'I must say Gimli, I am glad you are standing by with your stout legs and your hard... axe.' That's including the emphasis and pause in the radio play... *is overwhelmed by the subtext* I figured it was good for a giggle.
(Leggy and Gimsi and all their man-love subtext belong to JRR Tolkien, and are from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.)
