Tag As FavoriteComment		The rim of the sun slide from behind Oceanus. Light spilled across the dunes. The Avarclon gave a low moan of despair. His eyes were dull and glazed. His flesh shrank and melted beneath the skin. Aeriel could see his bones.
'What is it?' she cried softly. 'What is happening?'
The starhorse moaned again and shuddered. 'Avaric!' he cried.
'Avaric, Avaric!'

(From 'The Darkangel Trilogy' by Meredith Pierce... I guess you might have to read it to understand what's happening ^_^ ... and i did intend for Aeriel to look younger ;) )

reminds me of the black unicorn. Were the little girl finds the bones and tries to use her magic and the bones become a unicorn with wings that takes her to a hatchery of unicorns on the moon.
