Excellent work. I love this piece. Very well done. The detail is beautiful. The heiroglyphis in the back are very good. Definitely one of my favorite. Keep 'em coming.

I am a Bast fanatic. All I have to say to you is Wow!

I have only found few pictures that CORRECTLY depicit Her! This is one of those few!

They both look so forlorn, I just want to jump into the picture and Comfort Her. Did someone get hurt or die? Are They upset about something to do with the Underworld or a God of relation to Them?


I can't wait 'till I get a scanner so I can post one of my own. ::giggles insanely:: Promise you'll be there to comment?

Bast rocks!!!! *meow*

I find one little mistake here. I think hieroglyphs should be written vertically instead of horizontally, except those written inside a cartouche. And... no, it doesn't affect the whole pic pretty much, it still looks exotic!

"I want chicken?" Am I just dreaming, or is that what it says? lol Could just be me confusing symbols for other ones...whatever. Me love! Great pic, and very nice heiroglyphics, even if they do promote Meow-Mix!

I love her pose. My biggest difficulty in drawing is interesting poses. You can read a ten volume set on anatomy and know nothing about artistic appeal. You do both wonderfully. Thanks for sharing. 2
