I am a stay at home mom of one. I started drawing when I was little older than my daughter is now. I haven't put down the pencils since. I am a wirter of sorts, focusing currently on a book of short stories about dragons for children and three tales hopefully that will become novels. I have had no formal schooling in the arts. Everything drawn or painted or sculpted by my hand is simply the work of one who loves to give a little of her gift to everyone else. I hope you enjoy the peices here and will return when there are more.

*UPDATE* I am currently doing more work and taking down old work you should be seeing new images soon. Black and whites are being retired slowly and reworked to exhibit progress in shadow, texture, and light both by hand and using a graphics program.

This is very nice work. It's actaully a shame you've never had any formal training. Your creativity and raw talent could work wonders with the proper refined skills. The fact that you've done so well with no schooling only makes it painfully obvious to me how sucessful you could be with a little formal art education... If you ever have a chance to take a life drawing class, you really should. You have too much talent to let it go untrained forever... Excellent job, keep after it...
