What, because thinking of Snape makes everything seem better cause he's got so much more on his plate? I can see that. Very nice picture, I love the angles and all in it. The general layout as well.

I really like the symbolism in this. I take it it's a Death Eater's mask in the background?

Trapped in a cage of despair and regret, his past a constant shadow following him where ever he goes, over shadowing the good he does. Ruled by the lack of control over what had once been his life, he hangs between two worlds, longing for the darkness hes so familiar with, but also aching for the light he can never truly have.

Poor guy.

I love the symbolism. The black and white background and then the large mask behind the small cage. Very unique. i love the use of values (i'm sure your getting tired of hearing that, but its true. i just love how you contast the lights and the darks). i love his pose in the cage. like hes weakening, but still he continues to fight. and the detail in the mask is beautiful, haunting.

Aww, poor Severus. He's just a boatload of angst, now isn't he? I badly want to mother him. And i mean BADLY.
