I've uploaded this since it's rather curios. It's also one of the nicest pictures with a human face that I have...

And least, but not the last, it has a very weird background, and fantastic, nonetheless.

The right tree is easily recognizable as the weird shaped tree, with black bark and blood through its veins. It appeared several times in my gallery before making room for other pictures. The lansdcape is one from the rainy fields, with a vaguely drawn bush of black roses behind the tree, which softly sparkle white. Behind them all is a sea and the "imperial skies" which are gray-to-violet, sometimes with a pink hue. And then, it is the woman...

It is a vague character from my stories, that probably has great powers but does not appear too often. This image was what an artist from the fields had seen after waking up (he slept during a heavy rain). And then, she was gone. But the artist knew that he had seen her.. he had seen what was in in old and rainy black fields... the old inhabitant and a fabulous guardian of earth... It was her. He had seen seen her. And she was gone.

I did not want to make her look angry or displeased, but this is how the face came out after shrinking it to fit the body size (I drew a much larger variant of her face, which looked calm and serene, though not smiling). For her hands, those could have also been drawn behind her, but this position was what I had originally wanted. For once, I can say that I am pleased with how I have drawn a curios image from my mind. She's from the fabulous race of "earth guardians". They do not have a specific shape or appearence, but may chose one how they please. This one - human-like. These have tremendous powers but have to be almost every time in contact with earth or their specific element (mineral or stone). This one - who knows? Something black. That's why her dress just losses itself in the ground and she looks like a statue well shaped and carefully thought, rather than a spontaneous position. It also explains the fact that she appeared out of nowhere and was gone in the blink of an eye - earth guardian could travel at high speed - the artist never knew what hit him...

But then again, some poetry of mine depict the dialogue between the two...

I've marked this with - in front because it's quite a special imagery in my stories and should stay with other such mysterious ideas.

!Attention!: this is a large picture, 1824 x 1872 pixels, so it is advised to try the "Full size" button, just in case...

Beautiful, very bride of frakenstine!

:-) Anca Raluca Sandu replies: "I’ve received feedback regarding her looking more like Morticia from the Adams family. Anyway, a creepy look was never what I intended for her, it was just supposed to be a woman in a very long and dark gown, which goes into the earth, merging with it, because she’s such a special being that can unite with the element she belongs to. This is only a temporary aspect."
