Let's simply say it is an ancient creature of the Earth Fabulous Elemental (you can read more about my imaginary Fabulous Areas in the Guardian series pictures). They are in contact with Earth, firmly linked with it and as thus, their body can take various shapes. The females of this nation usually take the form of a gown/dress for the lower body, while the male have distinct legs/pant-like forms. The female like aesthetic feathered wings, while the male form a more dangerous blade-like wing for minimal defense. Sometimes the hair length differs. The gown and pants (for males) are actually full with the flesh and earth material that forms their bodies.
This particular white young woman is the last individual of this race. I have shown their sad story in the "Tinfoil" series where a model of her is shown. This is the picture after which the tinfoil model was inspired. I think the wounds ended up looking very appropriate, very... well, painful. Perhaps this shows better her suffering but mostly sadness at her failure to stop the cruelty... but this is not an end. The suffering will not go unnoticed, the story of the Forgotten One will go on... :)
I like their flowing shapes and the entire idea started as an experient with curves and curves...
