I noticed that you have to use "Full size" to make it work (it may have a problem with shrinking if it doesn't move in the standard version Elfwood gives).

Or, since this new form of Elfwood, click on it to view the entire, original image, and it will move.

Both, because I received good feedback on the other 2 animations and because I really liked the idea, I decided to make an animation that used more frames. This time I merged 9 different running poses (pictures) and this came out.

Bassically, it aimed for the same type of reptile, except this is more complex (more frames and pictures to do) so I gave up many of the details, including the bottom of the legs (you can see, they're just like a simple tentacle).

This particular version is a combination and tries to depict a battle unit from my imagination. It should have been a war chariot, as I named it, though it doesn't contain the chariot piece. The rider (which is absent here) should be standing on the last two creatures (the chariot had 20 runners, grouped in two, so it was still 10 creatures long).

For the simplicity of the image, here are just 10 creatures trying to form a group.

I know that the bridles of the first and last pairs are seriously annoyig and wrong, but I was too lazy to correct them. Maybe some other time.

Oh, this is a lot better! The proportions are more consistent and so are the colors. Much, much better!

Jennifer is right. Much smoother and slicker. Simplification is key - that is why the old hand-drawn animation tends to have less detail than modern digital animation.

:-) Anca-Raluca "Nekorrim" Sandu replies: "I figured it has to do with shrinking but I’m a fan of larger pictures and detail... However, this doesn’t mean I don’t like smaller ones, or versions like this in particular. This is just the rudimentary way of making several different pictures and merging them together (for fun? mostly...). The art of making cartoons or 3D animations will always be a mystery for me... 2 though I like very much some of them."

Yes, it’s got good timing, nice one.

:-) Anca-Raluca "Nekorrim" Sandu replies: "It’s true that I wanted to imitate a horse running but then I though that this creature uses more the feline running to achieve higher speeds and so... this came out! It was only a problem of how fast the frames had to succeed. There is possible a faster way, but even though it looks more like the running I wanted, you can miss some details. I though that more frames would make it smoother and it did."

Way cool, I like the blue and nice work on this!

:-) Anca-Raluca "Nekorrim" Sandu replies: "Thank you, I really like the way they came out too. Sorry for replying so late, I must have missed a lot around here."
