August's birthstone, Peridot.  Many thanks to the lovely Lisajen-stock for the model reference.  Painted in photoshop CS, original is 12x18 inches.

This is fantastic. Beatifully painted and immaculate detail. The only problem I have with this is the transition from wing to shoulder. It’s just blended. I know it’s fantastical, but I would have like dot have seen something of the mechanism by which the join is achived as the wings here do not look they have anything to make them work in terms of muscles etc.

But it is a very beautifulo picture nontheless.
