welp, i finally finished this! took a few months on and off, too bad i don't keep track of hours... anyway, each and every detail was hand painted - even the jewels were individually painted... yes, i am very crazy. i figured i should do something complicated and intricate, and really get everything detailed. oh yeah, this is a self portrait, based on a photo of myself of course. everything in the painting has symbolic meaning (don't ask what though ;)
