The scabbards for both swords are right next to one another. Not to sound snippy, but if you can't tell that, perhaps you should change your monitor resolution down, so that the pic is a decent size.

Is it just me or is he... well, stocky? You know... stout. Kind of... little? Kind of like a pointy-eared hobbit?

hey Matt, you Can become a Samurai if you wern't born into it. all you needed was someone of signifigant rank (like a Deimyo (sp?) or something) to make you one. at one point 1 out of 5 japanese were samurai, so it wasn't like some ultra exclusive tiny group or anything. oh and adam, the ideal length of a katana is defined by the user, if standing straight, and holding the katana in your hand blade down, it should have about an inch of clearence from the ground. so in this pic it would actually be a bit long. but then hey i use a katana thats too long too, and i have no problems with it. great pic don't let any of these naysaying idiots tell you otherwise

His face and sword are very well drawn. However, the overall proportions of his body are a bit off. I feel like his legs are too short...

The expression makes me wonder where he has been and what he has seen. I totally appreciate the clothing... Very nice. Only wish I could own something similar! Flames on the sword... Maybe it's my vivid imagination, but they have a hypnotic effect.

This is a well-drawn picture, but I do have to agree with some of the points of the people saying it isn't historically accurate. When taken out of historical context, it is fine, but you could not become a samurai without being born into it. I assume this is supposed to be taken out of historical context though, because first and foremost, it's an elf, and secondly, aside from the two blades, he is not dressed up like a samurai at all. Plus the sword's on fire.

How dificult is know at, fantasy world every think is possible, so long at GM says at you can do it.
