Cool gryph... reminds me of that old Jim Henson show 'The Storyteller.' There was a gryphon that looked just like this one...
Nice work.

It reminds me of the movie secret of nimh. Wise old mysterious gryphon. (course, I know they had no gryphs in that movie..I guess it reminds me of the great owl, or whatever it was called) Nice2

Your gryphon's are wonderful, and beautifully detailed.
the long ears look great ..and the markings on the beak are very unique. i don't think i have seen a gryphon "tattooed" in such a way.

Hi I just had to comment on this picture, he has the most touching eyes, I love all your work Andi, this is by far my favourite, I think it is both original and different, more Gryphons please! *By the way will someone please come and see my pics, I've got hardly any comments!* ;0)

Two things attract imediately ot this picture, closely followed by everything else: the eyes and swirl of the tufts. It's...a thoughtful, verging on ethereal representation, and the eyes have a such a gaze that the observer becomes the observed...

*shakes herself from her revelry* And Celtic knotwork is always a hoot. A word to the wise: if you've never done it before, don't try to teach yourself in half an inch of space, with 4 strands braided. It kills more braincells than it's worth.
