The pose of the rider is cool, it looks like he's defeated, or looking dowhill, or maybe hiding... I dunno but I like it.

It looks like the Shire could be covered in mist, sort of blocking the Ringwraith from getting there and equally sheltering the innocent settlement from the monstrous evil set upon it. The front legs seem slightly over at the knee, and the ergot to large. The rump is .... maybe rounded to soon, when it sould be sphered more. But I'm an equestrian and always notice these things... That's where your trouble started, because you drew the length of the body fine but didn't make it deep enough. The hindquarters are sticking out slightly too far at the top, but otherwise the pic is excellent! (I'm may sound like I'm discriminating your horse, but I have a whole lot of horse blood in me!) | |
