Tag As FavoriteComment		Sam's devotion. Sam standing next to his fallen master, trying to ward off shelob's massive abdomen with Sting. done in Trimiew's class...again. Done with #2 pencil, and that is shelobs abdomen not head! Hey it has some semblance of a background!

WHAT??? no comments on this one? can't believe it 12 ... Sam is just awefull ... the bg is a little weird, can't figure out what's shelob and what's the rocks ... but .... SAM IS JUST GREAT!!!

1 Jonathan W. Horne replies: "*hearty chuckle* yes those are "supposed" to be stalagmite/stalagtite thingies in the background, with Shelobs abdomen with those spikey protrusions in the foreground (I might have to go back and change that). Thanks for the comment!!!!"

Don't know what the person above me just said...I like it,good pose,It just seems a little light to me,Wasn't she supposed to have been in a dark tunnel or some thing... But its still good.

8 Jonathan W. Horne replies: "Thanks for the comment! The original was darker, but I could not get the scanner to pick up the darkness as well as some of the more nuanced detail, so it was a trade off 8"

You need to make the rest of the spider like her legs showing so it doesn't look like a big grey/black area.
But other wise love the picture sooooooo much.
I can see your a tolkien fan to i just don't draw it as much!!!
