What! Such talented work yet not much people commented on it! Makes me rather angry... Hmm, can you comment on my forlorn page? I would appreciate it to a large extent (my Elfwood page is very lonely and fresh [I am also premature in art as well]). Thanks very much.

Hehe a nice surprise I guess 2 Anyways, looking at a range of pictures, I could really see how you'd grown as an artist...Keep up the good work!

Heheheh I'm also a Sith...Dark *Lady* of the Sith that is. So I guess for sith solidarity now I have to look at your artworks 1

:-) Benjamin A. English replies: "Be my guest. Actually that was weird. I was looking at my gallery, and had no new comments, then logged on to the extranet, and behold. A twenty-nine where there just was a 28. Cool"

You've got some pretty good stuff here, though I do have to wonder with your critique of my proportions... On the other hand, all it takes is practice. I definitely like the material, though my personal judgment is that you seem really undecided between styles. If you were to pick either anime or realism, and stick to it, possibly working off some generic material to get the gist (spelling?) of it, this stuff'd improve no end... There's huge potential here.

BTW, thanks for swinging by my stuff. I have a few more pieces coming, as soon as I find time to scan, edit & upload...

12 Benjamin A. English replies: "Hey. I didn't say my proportions were better? You don't have to be a good actor to critique acting."

you've got a lot of really nice pictures here. I just think it looks like you're too impatient... (I'm sorry if it isn't so, I don't mean to offend you). Some of the cartoon-like pictures looks like quick doodles (which can be all right, I do that too) and I'm convinced they would look a lot better if you spend a bit more time on them! I know they would, because you have a lot of really nicely done picture in you gallery. I am looking forward to seeing more of your art!

:-) Benjamin A. English replies: "You were right: I am rather impatient. But it would help if you were more specific. Like which drawings do you think look like doodles.?..."

Hi Benjamin. Thank you for replying to my comment. You asked me to mention some pictures i thought looked like "doodles" (actually I don't know if thats the right word.. It's more that I know you can do better!) A picture like "Lady Uieva" looks like you've been very impatient.. Also the two "Races Faces". I know you can make better portraits than that, just look at your "Vanessa Lewis-street fighting" in your fan-art-gallery. Also "The angry native" looks a bit sloppy (I especially noticed her right arm). On the other hand i just love your "Barbarian Jan". Although her proportions (especially her hips ;-) ) are a bit overstated, it fits in the picture. Its a nice piece, and it really is an example of your own unique style.
I really hope you can use my comment, and that you don't feel offended. I really do like your work, and I have added your gallery to my favorites!

:-) Benjamin A. English replies: "Don't think I'm offended. Your reply to my reply was actually helpful! I know that the drawings you mentioned aren't exactly up to the quality of the rest of my work. Lady Ueiva looks much better on Paper, but this scan is just horrible, with half the hair tones gone and stuff. 8"

Nice gallery! I see you're quite the master when it comes to digital colouring. I especially love the drawing you put in your thumbnail as well. And the red-headed ones, of course ^_~ Please keep drawing in 2005, I'd love to see more!

~Sarah

P.S. Congratulations on your 50th comment 2

Nice gallery, I can see the influence of StarCraft in your choice of names for some of your characters and some of the aliens/monsters actually look like ZERG! Cool...StarCraft ROCKS! Keep up the great work.
