| 8 Oct 2002 | Astra M. Poyser | I like your gallery. I think "Water Angel" is my favorite. That would make a really neat tattoo. It's a nice new take on your traditional angel! | |
| 30 Oct 2002 | Oliver Jöhnk | I really like your 'dragonscape' and all other pictures are great, too. I hope you will post much more of your great work. | |

| 12 Jan 2004 | Kristen Cudd Ritterbush | WoohoO! Another Kristen Diane in the woods! Very nice artwork, my favorite's your 'vulnerability' piece... Wonderful idea you had there. Well I was mostly just dropping in to say hi, so I'm off to work on some more of my own artwork/stories and stuffs now, | |

| 28 Mar 2004 | Danny R Roberts | Well is it no wonder that "Vulnerability" and "Manipulation" got the most attention in class?!?! Your better works in my opinion. Hey, maybe it's best that they look better in real life - and maybe the Photoshop thing can only take you so far. I don't mean to bad mouth Photoshop, I use it myself, but I'm just pointing out how much more emotional and crafted the real life pencil ones are! Would like to see More of Those! Keep it up! Kristen Diane Scallion replies: "I actually began those two drawings with the intent of creating very personally emotional pieces. I'm usually just doing character portraits with Photoshop, so I've never actually attempted much more than that digitally. I am currently practicing more with colored pencil and will begin experimenting with watercolors soon, too, while trying to improve my digital skills. Just need to find that blasted motivation that elludes me....Thanks for the comment!" | |
| 11 Oct 2005 | Andy Scheffer | Hey, your characters have quite good proportions and a fine digital colouring. nicely done! | |
| 20 Oct 2007 | Christopher R. Yost | It's always great to see another that's also in one of the Art Institutes, I go to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh myself.
I took the time to look at Thrive, and I must say I'm not inly impressed but anxious to play it, you and your team did a really impressive job with it and it looks really great. I wish all the best luck and success for you and the game. | |
| 23 Nov 2007 | Stephanie S. K. Marbach | Hi there ! I've read a comment you wrote on someone's gallery about compositions of photographs. You really learned a lot at school! I was hoping to find some images in your gallery that were photographs since you know so much about it so i was wondering if you have anything like that going on and if so, let me know, i'd be glad to see it ! Greetings Kristen Diane Scallion replies: "Hi back. The photograph work I did usually involved compositing 3D objects into a photographed background. It was basically classes related to the kind of work that would apply to 3d for movies. A lot of the same principles apply to compositing 3d objects into a separately rendered 3d background as well. I'm certainly no expert, but I just wanted to share what I had so recently learned. I don't do photograph work, generally, although I love seeing someone fool the eye by placing a 2d or 3d object into a real world setting." | |
