This is from a card deck I designed for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream. For the Ace of Spades card, I chose to depict the scene where Puck puts the nectar from the special love flower into the mortals eyes. I thought that the flowers represented one of the plot points upon which the whole story turned, and the scene seemed appropriate for the Ace of Spades.
