Wow. This pic is amazing. The entire concept of mind control is morbid, and you convey the horror of this really, really well. I love the wings... they're ruffled, and make me think of a fallen angel.

Your mind is not "your" mind anyway, so I guess there is not much do to about it. I enjoyed the picture. I am sure you put some effort into it.

Mind is not soul. It is a product, a software created by soul and installed in the brain. We are the only ones who have control over our mind.

There is something you could call mind control, though.
As humanity mostly is unaware of what they truly are, they tend to be easily manipulated. You could call that a sort of mind control... but no.. its not possible that someone comes and takes over something that our own very soul has created, protected by the God/Goddess energy.

It didn't sink in that you were female. You need to be careful because unscruopulous men will control you for sex. Men with this ability use it to force women to have sex with them. It is not force because the women agree. It is force because the man is making the woman think she wants sex.

There is an example of this on TV I remember. You can't see any mind control of course. A guy goes to the Real World house. He meets this girl and they have sex right in front of the camera practically. There is only a blanket covering them.

Afterwards, the Real World people are interviewing the girl. She looks at the camera and says "I don't know why I did it". And she was telling the truth. You could see the confusion in her face. She really didn't know why she did it.

That guy controlled her. He wanted to have sex with a Real World castmate on TV in front of the whole world. So he went to the house, used his ability to control the girl, and had sex with her right in front of the camera.

P.S. Above I meant "Not that junk Karate or Tae Kwon Do. Real Kung Fu like Tai Chi or something similar."

I don't know about the soul bit Arthur, but Mind Control, or as the old people used to say, Possession, is a real thing.

If you want to protect yourself from it, you must be strong. Just like in the old vampire movies, possession is about will power. If you are weak willed, a drunk, use lots of drugs, sexually promiscous, a child, an adult trained to obey.....you will be easy to control or possess.

To protect yourself, you need to meditate. This is not a job or work. It is like being lazy. You sit there and think of nothing. The idea is not to be calm like most people think. The idea is to become familiar with what thoughts are in your head. After a year or so, you know exactly how and what your brain thinks.

Then, when someone tries to mind control or possess you, you will know it because the thoughts are strange to you. If you feel like stealing, you know you do not steal so someone must be trying to mind control you.

You cannot stop it without first accepting it is real, then training yourself to be strong willed. You are correct to be frightened. You can be made to do just about anything against your will by someone with this ability.

Luckily the ability varies in power. Some people can only control you a little bit. That is most common. It is only very strong people or trained people who can control just about anyone.

If you are truly interested in this, take martial arts for about 10 years. That might make you strong enough to develop your own ability. Not that kung fu, tae kwon do junk. Real kung fu.

To Artisit: This is exactly like an altar piece or similar, a picture in the centre of a room to grab your attention. The use of ink was a good idea. Leave it monochrome, cos clours would spoil the effect
