SciFi and Fantasy Art The Claw Boots vr.2 by Evangeline ´Sweetfires´ Cheng

These are the variation of the feet claws I designed as per requested by Toni Kaukinen over in Gallery 220. Those were meant to be worn over boots, these are boots.

I'm not too sure about the practicality, though it looks secure enough, but it seems to me that the wearer's toes could be broken with one kick/slash. So that means the leather must be of armour quality, stiff and able to support the feet. I think I might design another with studs running across the blade of the foot. This would insure a harder impact when kicking.

Never have been able too, they always come out looking freakyyy! How do you do it? I'm rather impressed, again, with your attention to detail in this one. I like.. So.. Why don't you use this type of.. uh.. ability in your other pics? -"Yoshi"grins because I'm more impressed with simplicity as that is my "level of artistic maturity". As for the detail, this is more common sense than anything else. I sat down, drew a cursory sketch of what I wanted then thinking in a practical manner, added all the bits and pieces. I knew that the steel would be heavy, so I though "reinforcements". Hence the double lacings and such. As to why I don't have this much detail in my other works, G I don't think
7 Apr 2001	Aimee Chow	Loading... Cool, you get an extra kick out of kicking people. (EEEEYYAAAUUU, those claws hurt!!) Hehe, wish I had those boots, so I can kick the people who piss me off.snickers they'd be a pain in certain places you know..say the airport, video rentals...the Library...grins hmmmm wish I was a cobbler, even without the claws, those boots kick ass!
