This is a VERY good picture! Shame on everyone for not commenting!!! The elf looks very well thought out, especially for something that appeared. Usually when something appears in one of my pics it tends to look very off. *cheers approval*

Few minor things, don't mean to sound nitpicky... big horse's ears too small, elf-girl's ears too high on head, and... if the elf-girl's got a cape, shouldn't it be flowing out behind her, like the horse's tail? Anyway, much better horse than I ever draw.
You ever consider that the horse flicked its tail? That could work!

Just one little thing - is it just me or is the large horse's body a bit blocky? Oh yeah, and I love the expressions on the large horse and especially the elf girl!

Just thought I'd say, when I saw it I immediately knew the tail was swishing/flicking.. all other hair is blowing the other way, lol, including the cloak! But I have to agree on the ears being too small (I do that all the time). The horse could also use a little more definition between neck and chest, plus a bit more fetlock. But I just love the motion you are capturing here! (I have lost my touch, hehe. Oh well.)

| 23 Feb 2007 | Huness | Loading...Its a nice study of horses but one thing wrong is if you watch a horse their legs move in counter point. If both legs are of the ground on one side they fall over. Other wise movement isn't bad. | |
