In the land of dreaming
There was a man
who looked to the sea
With eyes almost searching
his arms were outstretched
reaching for me.

In the waters i was swimming--
a creature of the sea,
with both arms and scales
with eyes in tears.

Nearing my arms reaching back,
being held back by gales
he found courage and came flying
towards this creature splashing,
reaching, struggling
with eyes intent on approaching
his arms exerting,
his chest heaving,
his legs bracing

I break free,
all the way struggling
swimming towards him
with my heart
beating, racing

We come to an embrace, locking
holding each other,
wanting each other
or nothing

after all that struggle,
we are crying sighing in joy,
weeping in sorrow as fate is laughing
for who cannot see the tragedy in this loving
of wanting to give and not knowing
what i am giving
impossible romance 8-8-00

Tanto el poema como la imagen son increíbles, a veces quisiera vivir e n un mundo de fantasía donde podría existir y cumplirse este amor tan bello, pero aun en el mundo real es posible encontrar a esa persona tan especial como un angel para mi

Obviamente yo no soy sirena pero hoy vivi lo mismo y ese amor que ahÍ se muestra sin buscar criticar ,la técnica ni el resultado final, es 100% POSIBLE ellos no son pareja el es un angel y ella es un ser de gran profundidad y así de esta forma el le muestra lo mucho que la cuido y la AMO todo el tiempo aunque ella no supiera que el existía.

I'm a Spanish girl and I don't speak very good English,but the picture and the poem are beautiful,very beautiful.When I saw it the first time I felt myself without words.the person who has written the poem is a good writer,and the person who has draw the picture,too.

Absolutely beautiful, I love the emotion on their faces, you can really feel their longing. MY heart breaks for them!!! IT's so sad! But really beautiful, someone should write a story to go with it!
