	This is one of the first pictures where I used colored pencils. A bit rough, so I fixed it up a bit using Photoshop. If I seem to be obsessed with mermaids, don't be surprised. I was watching 'Little Mermaid' when I did this series of mermaids.

This reminds me very much of the Hans Christian Anderson movie version, in which, the little mermaid is not a red head disney cuteness thing, and the ending isn't so happy...but I love this, there is something enchanting about the way you combine all the colors to flow so well, and unlike most of the mermaids I see [including mine] you've made the hair fit so perfectly, flowing, lifted by the water...this is beautiful.
