A Japanese water goddess

Low fire glazes on stoneware clay. Did this about 2 years ago and just never got around to taking a picture of it. Took forever to paint all of those little squigglies for the water. Strongly inspired by an American artist who specialized in Japanese style wood block prints. I want to say that her name it Bertha Lum or something similar.

She looks so cool! I love how her dress seems to fade into the atmosphere around her. The bottom is so interesting to look at. It looks like a paint mixture, very cool! Rock on!

This is awsome! How do you do that?! It's so cool! The art of it is ok, but the piece itself is great!
