Star maker

In his shop

Crafting pinpricks

Bursts and pop

Paint them silver

White and shine

Place them neatly

In a line

Toss them up

Into night sky

Collect the fallen

Where they lie

Done in about 8 hours not counting the time it took me to hand draw the star maker himself and his stool and star. The entire background was done from scratch on the computer, a real feat for me considering I hate doing backgrounds in any form. I was finally able to make a NICE looking shrunken version! YAY!

What a cute idea! Hehe. The poem's neat as well. And I love the colors that you used. I can't really tell what it is about them... but I like it. ^^

The one thing that really catches my eyes about this pic is the magic of the starpieces that fell on the floor. How you made the light effect on the basket look almost like water. Truly magical and very well done.

This is very cool, surreal in a magical and vibrant way. I love the star maker himself, his look of concentration...if that was God, I'd worship him, crazy old inventor dude

12 Angela ´thedustyphoenix´ Apilado replies: "nah,he's not God. Just one of his craftsman."

I adore this picture! I will think of this little artisan every time I see the stars now. I have always been inspired by the night sky and now I know who I can give the credit to 12 Fabulous work!

1 Angela ´thedustyphoenix´ Apilado replies: "Mr. Star maker thanx you for your gratitude. ^_-"

Great pic but I love the poem the most. But the third line from the bottom kinda bugs me-the rhythem is broken and it jangles the whole flow of the poem. What about: "Toss them into darkening sky"? It's only a suggestion, please don't throw pots and pans at me (Hides behind the sofa) 1
AWESOME pic by the way.

How cool 1 the pic is adorable and the idea is really original, one of the best I've seen lately.
