"Agathon" by Kimberly Atkins

	Agathon is a Norse King. This character was loosely based on my fiance. I used a photograph of him as a reference. He loves this picture, as do I.

2 Jun 2005	Lisa Sanderson	Loading... Very cool pic but I must say... it sorta looks like a young man.. maybe even a woman in a costume. Don't get me wrong, you got some major skills. The eyes are gorgeous.. the hair looks so real, but together, they just don't look very.. right? Think it might be looking kind of womanly/feminine to me b/c the shoulders look very narrow. shrugs I dunno It's still an awesome pic though! Kimberly Atkins replies: "Well Thanks! This picture was drawn from an actual photograph of my fiance'. I've had this discussion with him several times. He doesn't look like a female at first glance. But he does have a lot of feminine features because he looks so much like his mother. I have another image of him I will upload of him later on that's based on the same picture. I think I made the skin on his face too smooth and that may be contributing. But the shoulder width and face are exactly as he is. shrug so I dunno either. I understand what you're saying though."
