Tag As FavoriteComment		Inspired by Harry's torment in The Half-Blood Prince over his newfound feelings for Ginny Weasley (sorry if that was a spoiler!). Here we catch Harry in a moment of longing, knowing at last what his true feelings are, but too torn between affection and friendship to know what to do. Those who have read HBP know what happens, of course, but this image chooses to remain in the poignant contemplation of 'What if.'

This is precisely my second attempt at pure Photoshop painting, and I must say I'm immensely proud of myself. I've been toying with Photoshop for several years now, and could never for the life of me figure out how to paint using the program. Well, it clicked at last! The irony is that I just got Painter IX, so now I'll have to figure out a whole new program. Oy.

Yay for new artwork! nice to see it finished. i have to agree, this is your best work yet. though personally, i think you might have gone a little overboard on ginny's freckles. but then again, maybe not - that's just my opinion. anyway, it looks great! hehe, one of these days, i'm still going to have to get you to help me understand some of this digital painting stuff. i'll be looking forward to seeing what you do next!

Wow! This is nice, it's what I thought it would look like and u got Harry's face perfect I love your art keep it up.Thank you. =) I think Harry turned out pretty well, too.

I think it's awesome...I love the expression on Harry's face, and the way his shoulders seem to be slumped in...defeat?...indecision?...?There's some longing, and regret, and (dare I say it??) desire in there, too. Poor Harry.
