'And at last Bergil came running in, and he bore six leaves in a cloth. 'It is kingsfoil, Sir,' he said; 'but not fresh, I fear. It must have been culled two weeks ago at the least. I hope it will serve, Sir?' Then looking at Faramir he burst into tears.'

J.R.R. Tolkien: 'The Lord of the Rings', Book 5, Chapter 8: The Houses of Healing

Beautiful.I've said this before i think, but you can really see a huge amount of difference between your earlier works, and your more recent paintings.Your more recent paintings look so much more accomplished and confident.its great to see an artist like yourself develop so quickly(it seems)and show us all how its done!

Another swoonworthy picture of the famous Eissman Faramir...and I LOVE Bergil. He's gorgeous.

I really must invent a wallpaper including every single one of your pictures in enough detail so I can gaze at them all...

Sweatdrops? You actually are able to paint sweatdrops with watercolour?!?!?! The detail here is amazing! GO you!

I absolutlely love Faramir in this. He looks so pale, thin, and drawn, but it's subtle. Very nice sweatdrops! And btw, like everyone else, I agree that Bergil is adowwable!

Poor Faramir! He is young, and has borne so much (CURESE YOU DENETHOR!!!!). I love how you've drawn the little boy. He saved his life!

First of all I want to make one thing clear: I LOVE YOUR PICTURES!!!

But I would like to disagree on one point. I think Bergil looks too young, even though I know he was ten. He looks like a young hobbit, ignorant of the harsher side of life, except that he is obviously concerned for Faramir. I always imagined Bergil to look almost thirteen, partly because of an upbringing in war-torn Gondor, and partly because he's quite tall - he told Pippen he was five feet already (that's almost as tall as I am, but so young! I envy him!!).

Hmm. Unusual for me to disagree with most previous comments on your pictures.

The hole sence is great.
That lil bit of description rote an entire novel.
The lighting effect is good. But on the person who is in bed, should atleast look as if he
deserve life.He should look pale a a ghost.
On the other hand the clothing fits the cast.Every fold in the clothing looks crisp.

Wow, this is awesome! I always thought the Athelas thing was underrated. In the movies they don’t even explain what’s going on or why it’s Aragorn doing the healing.
My only crit is that you might want to put some hint of pupils in the eyes. It makes the boy look blind.

aragorn looks like a 40 year younger version of my granddad!
