The chamber was lit by a wide shaft high in the further eastern wall; it slanted upwards and, far above, a small square patch of blue sky could be seen. The light of the shaft fell directly on a table in the middle of the room: a single oblong block, about two feet high, upon which was laid a great slab of white stone. 'It looks like a tomb', muttered Frodo, and bent forwards with a curious sense of foreboding, to look more closely at it.

J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings, Book 2, Chapter 4: A Journey in the Dark

Of this motive there are high-quality art-prints available: limited to 150 copies, each copy signed and numbered by me, size A2 (59,5 x 42 cm), heavy paper 270 g/sm

I dont want to kiss arse, but are you a professional illustrator?Well, not quite. I'm working on getting there.

TUOR! Why should I care of Grishnakh’s past? Should I love the beautiful Elves who declared me “of Orc” and exiled me when they learned I had a drop of Orc-blood in my veins? Should I despise the ugly Grishnakh who died seeking a precious treasure that would ransom me from the Pits? In my thousand years, I have lived with Elf, Mortal Men, and Orc before I was rescued from the Pits by my Sweet Gimli. And I know this: Elves have the best clothes. Mortal Men have the best food. Lady Anke of the Marten Brush is the best Artist. Gimli is the bravest, most magnificent, virile man I have known. But Men of Orc are ABSOLUTELY the best dancers.Well, I'll have to take your word on this, I guess.

I love the light in this picture. I really get the sense of being in Moria - that the only light at all is that which is slanting down on the tomb - and reflecting on the white of Gandalf's beard and the clasp of the cloak. Again, wow. Thanks a lot.

Beautiful coloursThanks.
4 May 200345 Snohtrag of Orc
And of all Men of Orc, I am THE best dancer. My Courtship Dance has won the heart of many Beauties! Skagmosh was not the first, and Gwinneth of Gondor won't be the last! If you would like a demonstration, next time you are in Middle Earth, visit the Gondor Tattoo and Piercing Parlor, next to the Frederick's of Isengard shop...Just ask for Snoddy...(but don't tell Gwinneth!)Thanks for the info 2

Think carefully before accepting Snohtrag’s invitation, Lady Anke. It is very risky to watch his Courtship Dance! First you’ll think, “Wow! What a great dancer!” Then, “Hmmm....for an Orc, he’s got a really cute a**” Then you’ll be begging him to pose for a painting...then another...and then instead of any new portraits of my Sweet Gimli you’ll be painting “Healing Snohtrag”, “Visiting Snohtrag” , “Snohtrag Bids Farewell”, “Snohtrag’s Trial”, “Snohtrag Shoots the Fell Beast”...Ah, I don't think so. I think it's well known that another character has priority in my paintings 12

I have to ask, or lady/lord of painting: What kind of paint is that? Oil? Acrylic? What?! I MUST LEARN! I WILL DIE IF I DON'T! YOU ARE AMAZING (have you considered doing scenes from the Legend of Zelda and painting them in this kind of paint? I have never seen anyone done so!)The paint is watercolour. As for Zelda, well, I only know the old Super Nintendo game of that, which I really like. But it hasn't inspired me to do any artwork.

Did I hear above that you are NOT professional?? I don't see how that can be, unless it's an old comment and you are pro now.

If you want enthusiasm, I can give it to you. I just don't like saying the same things as everybody else.

Thank you very very much for displaying your beautiful (no, that doesn't cover it. Stupendous, stunning, amazing, I could go through the thesaurus and still not have the words) paintings. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
