As a dead beast Beren lay upon the ground; but Lúthien touching him with her hand aroused him, and he cast aside the wolf-hame. Then he drew forth the knife Angrist; and from the iron claws that held it he cut a Silmaril. As he closed it in his hand, the radiance welled through his living flesh, and his hand became as a shining lamp; but the jewel suffered his touch and hurt him not.

What have you had published!

Light!The paintings "The phial of Galadriel" and "The Stairs of Cirith-Ungol" were published in the book "Frodo's Quest" by Quest Books.

This is truly magnificient! I don't know if I've commented on this one before, but now I have at least... 2 Knowing that this has been here a long while it's in my opinion still one of your best paintings. And his look! Wow! And the lighting! One of my all-time favourites.I must say that it ranks among my favourites of my paintings as well.

Wow! Amazing! Beren is my favorite character, (I am obsessed with his story), and this is one of the best pictures I have seen of him 2 Well done on your beautiful picture.
