A drawing of the brothers Faramir and Boromir. I like to imagine that Faramir has just quarrelled with their father, and now Boromir tries to cheer him up.

I've never seen a pic before that had that Faramir/Boromir brotherly bond. Hmm, i don't really seem to get around the net...Perhaps. There are some really good ones out there.

As the last commenter said, the net is sorely lacking pictures of Faramir and Boromir... and this one is so great! Their appearances really show their differences, and I love how Faramir looks so wistful, and Boromir's trying to be comforting while still looking strong... I also love the pencil technique. This is so great. Thanks a lot. You should check out the works of Catharina Chmiel. She does great Boromir and Faramir art.

This is really cool. Poor Faramir. He tries his best but his father still *hates* him.I don't think Denethor hated his second-born. Still, their relationship is difficult to define.

Looks like Orlando Bloom? LOOKS LIKE ORLANDO BLOOM!!!!????? GAAAAAHHHH!!!

My/Anke's Faramir doesn't look anything LIKE Orlando Pretty-Face Bloom! So there...

*goes off muttering about elves with long hair...and everyone knows Legolas is brunette...*

;-)

I love this picture, it's so sympathetic of Boromir...great work Anke, as always...BRILLIANT work. Thanks a lot.

Wonderful pic, Anke! Your Boromir looks very similar to Sean Bean. That's a nice coincidence. I didn't base Boromir's looks on those of Sean Bean (although Sean is definitely handsome), so perhaps the similarity came unintentionally.

You are truly AMAZING. You are the only person so far who has truly captured the world of Tolkien.

aww...nice and sweet. They are very nicely done. It reminds me of charlie brown cheering up linus, because of the wall thing... ^_^ hehe.

This looks nice, a real heartfelt moment between the beloved son and the hoping one. I love the emotion you have captured on their faces, and the loving hand of one brother to another...Probably a moment faramir remembers often...

WOW That’s EXACTLY how I imagined the two of them. BRILLIANT! (as usual!!!!)
