Even as the Nazgul had swerved aside from the onset of the White Rider, there came flying a deadly dart, and Faramir, as he held at bay a mounted champion of Harad, had fallen to the earth. Only the charge of Dol Amroth had saved him from the red southland swords that would have hewed him as he lay.

J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings, Book 5, Chapter 4: The Siege of Gondor

This is one of the best of your superb gallery. I love the feeling of impatience from the knight on the left as the horses and action still stir around them. And a couple of dead Harad men to boot! Fantastic work as usual.

Excellent watercolour work as is the rest of your Tolkien paintings. The light colour really brings out the essence of the characters. As for the plate armour mobility, you will be surprised that at the pinnacle of the armourer's craft (c. 16th-17th century) Men in full plate armour can move well in their FULLY FUNCTIONAL articulations. Chainmail is great for the time it was developed and I personally covet a "mithril" coat, but a well designed and executed plate armour is a masterpiece in form and function. Thanks for such wonderful work on the Tolkien saga.

Brilliant!
(at least SOME PEOPLE *cough cough* are wearing their helmets! is it a rule that sexy people can't wear helmets? wait, Eomer wore one...)
Poor Faramir looks so lost and tired, sprawled on the ground with wicked, nasssty arrowses stuck in him! The horses in the background really tie you into the fact that there's a battle going on, and this is just an island of semi-tranquility surrounded by people fighting for their lives.

Ur art is very good but there just isnt enough colour in the pictures. If they had more colour they would appeal more.
