For many hours they rode on through the meads and riverlands. Often the grass was so high that it reached above the knees of the riders, and their steeds seemed to be swimming in a grey-green sea. They came upon many hidden pools, and broad acres of sedge waving above wet and treacherous bogs; but Shadowfax found the way, and the other horses followed in his swath.

J.R.R.Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings, Book 3, Chapter 5: The White Rider

Of this motive there are high-quality art-prints available: limited to 150 copies, each copy signed and numbered by me, size A2 (59,5 x 42 cm), heavy paper 270 g/sm

I REALLY like your colours.
And you can leave white on a page!*face falls in gloom as covers another white page in 7B black scribble*

I envy that you can draw horses-I'm trying, lot's of copies from anatomy book skeletons.

Do you sketch or paint straight?
Congrats again.I sketch, mostly in a sketchbook, and then I do a soft under-drawing on watercolour paper before I start painting.

Oh, this is wonderful! Once again, I must congratulate you on a job well done. Just one small thing: I thought the Gimli rode with Legolas, and not with Gandalf. He rode with Gandalf on this journey, because Shadowfax was the stronger horse.

Wonderful picture! (wow, I finally found a synonym for "awesome"). . . Anyway, the colors are briliant. They blend so perfectly. Great job!

Is Legolas riding bare back? That's so awsome. . . *sigh* there I go again.Yes, he is. He took off Arod's saddle and bridle before he mounted.
