You've given Faramir a whole new light in my eyes. Your work is awe-inspiring. And that is what makes this insanely cool.Thank you very much.
| 8 Jul 2004 | Isobel Hawking | Loading...Dear Miss Eissmann,
You exhibit great dexterity in the jurisdiction of depicting fictitious verisimilitudes; although I am relatively sure you have no great expertise with microelectromechanical systems, (incorporating insubstantial cantilever structures and polysilicon substrates) they operate on the sub-micron level, they call for extreme diaphaneity, which you evidently possess. 'Sleepless' looks rather antediluvian! What did you think of Ar-Pharazon's mentality? Quite lovely!

It deals with events about 10 years after the War of the Ring, and one of the characters I play is Faramir.

| 20 Nov 2004 | Maria Ringsevjen | Loading...hmm...it is Faramir isn't it? I just noticed that the file-name was sleepless_elf. Well, if it is instead an elf then it's by no means a lesser picture, but I just have to point out that he really looks like Faramir to me Yes, it's Faramir. The "elf" is only something I add to all my elfwood image-files, to mark them as such. | |
| 20 Nov 2004 | Maria Ringsevjen | Loading...I think your version of Faramir improves almost always with each painting/drawing you put up, and this is one of the best. What you are able to do with watercolours just blows me away. You said this was originally just a study in lighting, and I have to say I think you succeeded very well. I really like his expression.Pleased to hear that. | |
| 11 Apr 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...Despite the fact that this isn't from canon LOTR, this seems so quintessentially Faramir. This is how I picture him sitting alone in the Houses of Healing perhaps, looking East. . . Very sad, but very lovely. | |
| 2 Dec 2005 | Suzanne Mitts | Loading...Sorry, had to comment on this one as well, i agree with the later person, this is just a lovly picture of faramir, caught when he thinks no one is watching, his emotions playing over his face. A moment to himself, to ponder, to think, to remember...Such a faramir thing to do...You can't help but fall in love with him here...There is just something so achingly lonely and beautiful about this picture...*sits and stares for hours* | |
