Such a beautiful picture (I think your work makes me need a thesaurous; I keep running out of synonyms to beautiful and spectacular...); the emotions are so vivid and the colors really help set the mood. The expression on Frodo's face is so poignant: just the despair and helplessness in facing so great a task; and you can see how worried Sam is about him. Wonderful!!!
22 Jan 2007	Anonymous	Loading... I don't get what the "book 4" or something means. There are just 3 Lord of the Rings-books, but I think I'll be wrong. Keep up the great artwork. Ich liebe deine art... don't know German word for it.

17 Jan 2012	Corimac Brandybuck	Loading... @ Anynomous The Lord of the Rings is really 6 books - two to each volume. So the fact that this is from book six means the second part of RotK that deals with Frodo and Sam in Mordor. Perfect depiction, Anke. Nothing against them, but I get kind of tired of the anime/Elijah Wood/looks-like-little-kids hobbits. This is exactly how I imagined the journey through Mordor. Beautiful work, I wish I could paint like you!!!
