| 7 Feb 2003 | Thorkell the Thin | Loading...This is an excellent painting - it's very "Arthurian" and reminds me a little of Alan Lee's illustrations of the Mabinogion, or his pocture of "The Hosting of the Faeries" in the book with Brian Froud...I love the illustrations Lee has done for the Mabinogion (and "Faeries" is great, too). I think they are sometimes even better than what he did for LotR. | |

Fantastic. The horses seem a trifle too lined, the foliage lacks depth a bit.I think that's the problem.I'm hurrying-want to see the next pic.Achieving depth is always a problem with watercolour.
| 10 Sep 2004 | Merry Wanderer of the Night | Loading...I love all of your work! It's all so beautiful. You really know how to capture the essence of every moment in your pictures. I've seen a lot of your work on Rolozo and have wanted to let you know what I think of your work for the longest time. And lo and behold, here you are on Elfwood! (I'm glad that my idle internet browsing has finally paid off!) This picture in particular is one of my favorites. It's like a still shot. You could swear that if you just look at it long enough, they will start to move again! I love the lighting in this piece! XDThank you very much. | |
| 28 Nov 2004 | Brandi Weaver | Loading...I don't care what anonymou said, I think you've got wonderful depth in this piece. And the lines are your style. I don't know why people think the better art has no lines. It depends on the artists style. And you, my friend, are superb! | |
| 8 Aug 2005 | The bustetroll | Loading...first of all I love your works. but this pic is not so good as they usually are... I think this picture is too "flat" there is no depth at the riders, the all just seems "flat"
keep up the rest of your good work! maria
