And Tuor looked down from the lowest terrace and saw, leaning against its wall among the stones and the sea-wrack, an Elf, clad in a grey cloak sodden with the sea. Silent he sat, gazing beyond the ruin of the beaches out over the long ridges of the waves. All was still, and there was no sound save the roaring of the surf below.

I love the scars you put on Voronwe's face.

Your entire series has this perfect eerie quality to it, which is exactly how it's supposed to be. I am always sort of ticked when people paint/draw Tolkien's stuff without a grey sadness hanging over it all. You've got it.Thanks a lot.

Amazing! This is simply breathtaking.
I love Voronwe's pose, how he just sits there. Staring.
Those cuts on his face are a nice touch too and I love the landscape.
That little crab on the rock, next to Voronwe is a nice touch too.It just hints being near the ocean. 2Yes, I like the crab, too. I took an actual crab I found at the beach for reference.

Great painting! Voronwe's face is excellent. The scars/wounds look so natural, but the best thing about this piece: his eyes. One of the best "gazes" I've seen in a painting!Thank you very much.

So he is sitting here, alone, doesn't know about Tuor yet. He has lost all his friends, he is the only one who remained. He doesn't know why. And probably he wishes he could die, too... He doesn't know, what to do now.
