"Roman vs. Zombie Thing" by Anastasia Heublein

I don't know what else to call it. If someone can think of a better title, let me know. Heh. That, and I wasn't sure if the creature thing is actually a zombie, or just...corrupted/cursed or something. Might be fun to figure out a story for it.

This is yet another project done for a class. We were just supposed to draw two figures in contention/conflict...and I wanted to do more than just another swordfight. I actually had the idea for the creature thing first, and then I decided I'd have it battle a Roman soldier. Maybe it's just me, but it seems there aren't as many fantasy/sci-fi/horror games and movies that feature Romans. Greece and Medieval Europe get most of the attention. Lot of historical fiction, sure, but not full-blown fantasy. Or, like I said, maybe it's just me?

I wasn't sure if I should put a mature warning on this or not, as it's violent and bloody, but no guts or dismemberment, so...maybe somewhere in between...?
