Of course I had to read the bit you typed up or I'd have been stuck with the wrong idea of her thinking of someone. Well... she could be thinking of herself I suppose It's a great touch ^_^ As is the tiny detail with the tail This looks lovely Cali ^_^

Or is there something I have missed? I’m not being nasty, I’m just curious! Anneliese "CalicoTiger" Stehwien replies: "To be honest, I expected such a remark to be posted by someone under "anonymous" or not logged in. I’m rather surprised these words came from another artist.
I think what you see in this image says more about you than me. I mean really... beastiality? I suppose Walt Disney was into beastiality as well when he created Mickey Mouse? And when the world came up with werewolves, that also was the world dipping into beastiality?
As for the latter accusation, I suppose you didn’t actually look at the rest of my gallery if you could ask such a statement.
Ah well, either way, you certainly made yourself look like an asshat "

| 23 Jul 2008 | Dale T. J. Beckwith | Loading...To begin with, why did you expect someone to make "some such remark" about your image? Surely you must be aware of it’s sexual nature to have thought such a thing to begin with. Futhermore, since when have mickey mouse or werewolves been sexual? That’s a terrible example. I say "sexual" because that is what your character appears to be; the heart in her tail, the way she is running her hand through her hair, her pose and her nudity, it’s all very suggestive. It looks like an anthropamorph glamour image. Something dosen’t have to be explicit to be sexual. I did look at the rest of your gallery by the way, and I also commented on another of your images and I haven’t masked myself because I have no reason to. I have not intended to offend you, I am just offering healthy critique as you are supposed to on this site. I thought about your picture and I wondered why someone would draw such a suggestive picture of a half human half animal. I didn’t presume anything about you, I asked you which of the logical explanations were right and all you have done is taken offence. If either of us should be offended it should be me as you called me an "asshat". Anneliese "CalicoTiger" Stehwien replies: "Because "You are either into beastiallity, enjoy making people feel uncomfortable with pictures of sexy animals or aren’t brave enough to draw actual humans in erotic poses" is constructive critique...." | |
| 25 Jul 2008 | Anon. | Loading...It is constructive because it makes you question your work. It would be no good if people just threw compliments or insults at you without any explanation of why they think such a thing in the first place.

| 3 May 2009 | Matt | Loading...I agree with Anonymous, and Annilis, the artist, those comments were not at all constructive and you deserve to be called an asshat because you turned yourself into one
