SciFi and Fantasy Art Muses of Creativity by Anneth ´Waterballoon Vixen´ Lagamo

I had the fortunate chance of taking an enlightening course this semester that went over the history of world mythology, philosophy, and its association with present society. One of the projects we had to do was to do a project based on one (or four) of the 9 greek muses. I was a bit miffed that there wasn't one for drawing (:D) so I had to choose which muse fit the niche of creative inspiration. I did mine with a fantasy twist. Unfortunately, a lot of details were lost during the process of uploading.

I have been searching high and low for some special pictures of the muses ... found so many but none that i felt showed the beauty and flow of color I was looking for ... until your picture ! I have a lifetime of Art experience ... we have a family business of fine art auctions and custom framing ... so i feel competant to say ... this is one of the most appealing pieces of art I have ever laid my eyes upon

4 Jun 2007	Annie Rhodes	Loading... I love this, all the gorgeous colours, i envy your talent with watercolours. I like the blue one's expression, not cos i have an obsession with the blues, just cos it seems the most human expression, as if being taunted by the other happy swirly ones.
6 Aug 2007	Rachel Marquis	Loading... This is remarkable! I know that scanners can be dreadfully insensitive at times, but if there's any loss of detail, I don't think it detracts from the piece. The "barely-there" quality works perfectly for the Muses. Wonderfully done!

YAY! one does music right, it looks like one of them does. i like music, i can’t draw worth a s*** but i love music. mythology is always intriging as do i find philosophy. my ultimate goal is to travel the world. art is one way i can do so, music is another. sometimes i really can love this earth
