Happy Halloween 2008! Here's my pumpkin, inspired by both Phantom of the Opera and by E.A. Poe's original tale, The Masque of the Red Death. It's only one pumpkin carved all the way around, had to take four pictures to show all the sides, and put them together in Photoshop. Used photo references and drew my own patterns. The actual words on the pumpkin say (side 1) "I AM RED DEATH" (side 3) "STALKING ABROAD". Had the clock face pointing at midnight because that was when Red Death was said to appear XD

Anthony replies: "Oops...I actually forgot to measure it...it was one of those Wal-Mart pumpkins, the kind you get for $3 the week before Halloween? Hmm... :: pretends to hold pumpkin and measures hand width:: I think it had a diameter between 8-12 inches (I know that’s a wide variation, but that’s as close as I can estimate based on how I held it, since it went into the trash a week ago). Thanks for commenting though! "
