CRT advantages

Accurate color
CRTs can provide richer color in a fuller spectrum than most LCDs. In general, graphic artists prefer CRT monitors because they show truer colors and greater nuance-particularly useful for preparing files for printing and for using photo applications such as Adobe® Photoshop®.

Response time
CRTs may respond more quickly than some LCDs to videos and fast-action games. For some LCDs, pixels respond to voltage (being turned "on" and "off"12 more slowly than the time it takes for an electron beam to redraw a CRT screen. As a result, fast-moving images can sometimes leave visible trails, called ghosting, or appear blurry on an LCD.

Viewing angle
CRT monitors display good brightness and color from a wide viewing angle. Some LCDs, however, look their best when you are directly in front of them, because of the way light passes through liquid crystals in the screen.

Multiple resolutions
CRT monitors can switch between multiple resolution settings without a significant loss in sharpness. If you need to change your monitor resolution frequently, you may be better off with CRT technology.

Lower purchase price
CRT monitors are generally less expensive at initial purchase than LCDs.


LCD disadvantages

While CRTs are capable of displaying multiple video resolutions, each with the same quality, LCD displays usually produce the crispest images in a "native resolution".

LCD displays generally have a lower contrast ratio than that on a plasma display or CRT. This is due to their "light valve" nature: some light always leaks out making black grey.

LCDs have longer response time than their plasma and CRT counterparts, creating ghosting and mixing.

The viewing angle of a LCD is usually less than that of most other display technologies thus reducing the number of people who can conveniently view the same image.

LCD "monitors" get migranes and other severe eyestrain problems from the flicker nature of the fluorescent backlights.

Apple sued over ’inferior’ iMac LCD screens

Apple has been hit by a class-action lawsuit claiming the company deceived customers over the quality of the LCD screens in the 20-inch iMacs launched last summer.

The screens are inferior in quality to those in the previous generation of 20-inch iMacs, and to those in the current generation of 24-inch iMacs, and are practically unusable for tasks like editing photographs, according to the lawsuit, filed by Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP.

"Apple is duping its customers into thinking they’re buying ’new and improved’ when in fact they’re getting stuck with ’new and inferior’," said Kabateck Brown Kellner managing partner Brian Kabateck, in a statement. "Beneath Apple’s ’good guy’ image is a corporation that takes advantage of its customers."

The company pointed to claims by Apple that the 20-inch iMac’s LCD screens can display "millions of colours at all resolutions" and provides a "stunning" visual experience for uses such as watching movies, editing photos and playing games.

In fact, these claims are only accurate for the 24-inch iMac, which can display 16,777,216 colours, according to the law firm. The 20-inch system, introduced in August 2007, can only display 262,144 colours and uses a different, cheaper LCD technology called six-bit twisted nematic film (TN).

"The 20-inch iMac’s TN LCD screens have a narrower viewing angle, less colour depth, less colour accuracy and are more susceptible to washout across the screen," the law firm stated. The technology is "particularly ill-suited to editing photographs because of the display’s limited colour potential and the distorting effect of the colour simulation processes," the firm said.

Because of the inequality of wealth in a truly Capitalist society with no Government welfare great poverty will occur. This will lead to homelessness, slums, disease, etc. Forced migration will also increase these problems in large cities and towns. The people who cannot make any money in the countryside will move to the towns and cities with the belief of finding work and making money. In reality they will just add to the ever growing population of the poor classes.

In a Capitalist society the rich get richer and the poor stay poor. In the end this will lead to great unrest and low morale in the society.

Advantages of Communism:

First of all in a communist country, people are all equal to each
other no matter how educated that person is, in the eyes of the government.
For example a Surgeon how is very well educated is equal in status with a
peasant farmer because in communism their is no such thing as lower class,
middle class and upper class. Eliminating economic boundaries which
separate people, benefits the whole society because then we eliminate the
have and have not, as a circumstance it eliminates crime.

Secondly in a Communist economic system people are never unemployed
because the government owns the means of production. Meaning the
governments owns all the factories and stores because their is no private
owner ship in a Communist system.
