*lurks behind the tree, the only other living soul
in this place forgotten by them all, looking at the colours of the "chicken soup" get bright
under a nightsky bright
with stars, delight
enters her mind
but the witch is not blind
- a red-hair flicker
behind a tree
darker than brown and thicker
than two men, a girl
stand in a swirl
of shiny moonlight
watching without fright*
-I`ve been spotted! *I think to myself*
-Come, girl, come, fox!
And ever since that date
I have this very fate:
a fox I have been
every night since
p.s. A bad witch I haven`t seen
- only I shouldn`t`ve been
as curious as to sit there and wonder
when the souls are gonna come out and eat
now at dark I wander
with furry red coat and four fast little feet. Anya Žbroom riderŽ Kholodova
replies: "Wow! Thank you so very much, Foxy Jenny, for showering me with the loveliest comments and especially for this poetical one! Wow!

OOh ooh an update! I've been busy lately so hadn't seen this...so far...
Amazing details, It's like...ALL those pumpkins and the ravens rock! (I love ravens and crows) And the candles and leaves... and the colours... In one word: BEAUTIFUL! Anya Žbroom riderŽ Kholodova

Anya, this is simply magnificent! Definitely one your best, and your work is all wonderful.
The way in which you've combined the colours is magical. All the wonderful witchy symbolism adds so much to this picture. The ravens are a splendid touch - I love ravens and crows with a passion, have an incredible story about one of my recent ancestors, presumed to be a witch, who could summon crows, but that's another story.
Everything about this picture is perfect. Anya Žbroom riderŽ Kholodova
replies: "Aww, thank you so much, Norma! Your kind comments are always making me happy! And your story is so intriguing... do you by any chance planning to make a picture of your witch ancestor? It could make a great addition to the "dark side" of your gallery...
Than you again, and I hope to see your new works sometimes soon!"

Oooo - I love the purple colour scheme, and the composition is really good. Also, I don't know how you did the pumpkin patch, but it rocks. ^_^ Anya Žbroom riderŽ Kholodova
replies: "Hey Kementari! It's great to hear from you! Thanks for the nice comment. I am pleased with the the colors here, they are somehow very autumnish, which I like.
I had checked up your gallery a few days ago in hope to see some new stuff... guess you are really busy with the school now. Still hope to see something new in your gallery one day!"

Chicken soup...? I am sure I wouldn't touch that soup. But then I am not a dead soul. Maybe they prefer their chicken soup green, bubbly and slightly glowing.
Wonderful atmospheric picture again! Anya Žbroom riderŽ Kholodova
replies: "Thank you very much! Well, to get published in Elfwood, human witches supposed to do something magical at the moment, so the souls would get their soup green, bubbly and slightly glowing no matter if they like it or not)"

Hi, Anya! How are you? I love this one and the pun you intended! LOL! I love the detail and transparency of the 'souls'--just the whole concept is wonderful, at the same time whimsical! Some the characters seem to jump out of the screen. I really, really love your work! Well--I'm off to see more awesome art in your gallery! Take care! Anya Žbroom riderŽ Kholodova
replies: "Hello Jade! Sorry for the late reply. I am so glad to hear from you! Yes, I checked up your gallery, you have some wonderful new pictures, absolutely beautiful!
