There is something so provocative about a picture set out in the moonlight. More so when it features a Drow! As is so ofern the case with your work, the first thing that hits me is the way your subjects are dressed. His robe looks fantastic! Black, red and gold are a classic combination, and you'v used them to perfection. Makes his attire look expensive without looking gordy or tacky. I love the way the clouds are illuminating slightly from the moon, but most of all i love those little sparks of magic you'v surounded him with. They really drives home the fact his using magic in a very subtle but potent way, as a good mage should. Very clever the way you have left them trailing into the distance behind to show where he's came from and enforce the idea that he's on the move. That might sound a bit technical to some people, but every detail helps, and it works very well in bring that fabulous looking castle into the picture too.

This guy's clothing is special even for me: he always must look spiffy, yet his outfit doesn't have much of the variety in fashion or color. So I find it interesting and even a bit challenging to design the new details for his robes and boots for every new picture of him Also, I am glad that you like the sparkling "magic flight" effect...
